So the Hospital Called...

and left a message on the house phone this Monday. I did not learn of this message until today. So I called them back and left a message. I can't get a hold of anybody.

I hope I didn't fuck this up!!!!

p.s.- My health screening test is clear. So I'm assuming they're calling me in for Round Three which is the interview.

Human Pin Cushion

I had to get my blood drawn and a TB test today for the hospital gig. Stupid me didn't eat anything ALL day and almost fainted. I was lightheaded and my legs felt like jelly. Good thing my dad was with me, he took me to the cafeteria as soon as I ate, I felt much better.

Round Two: Hospital Intern Program

Received another letter from the hospital today. I made it through round one. Now on to round two which involves a health screening and a PPD test. Hmmph needles!

Holy Crap! I Finally Got The Letter!

A year ago, I sent in an application to do an internship at the hospital. Just when I lost hope, the letter arrives today inviting me to attend orientation in January. But my anxiety doesn't end here. They make applicants jump through hoops to get to get in. It is a very competitive program with only 25 spots open every year. I need all the luck in the world. I so want work here. It will be such an amazing opportunity to help people and to learn hands-on skills that will prepare me for my new career.
