I was just reading about Yelp's sketchy business practices. Hope they don't act the same way in Europe.

The complaint about yelp sounds very flimsy. How convenient that the article cites resources from the anonymous and disgruntled business owners.

I know for a fact in my reviews I have issued 1 star ratings and they are still up so this means that they have never been removed. These are both small and big businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area. If extortion were rampant then why are my low star ratings still up? And as far as I can see, my low ratings aren't buried at the bottom of the list.

Nobody knows if East Bay's allegeation is true or not. The whole debacle is a matter of he said-she said.
